In 2006 Oracle purchased Siebel and their popular on-premise CRM solution. Last week (August 27, 2008) Oracle announced the Oracle CRM On Demand Integration to Siebel CRM, a pre-built integration environment that "creates a single customer view across on-demand and on-premise CRM deployments".
This new integration between their on premise and on demand CRM solutions, allows customers to support multiple Oracle CRM On Demand instances with the on-premise Siebel solutions, which means that customer data can be synchronized and analyzed in real-time (customer data provided from Oracle CRM On demand but also from Siebel CRM On Premise).
