Newsgroup subject: Marketing campaign won't show as executed

I started a direct mail marketing campaign and completed the mail merge and
printed the documents. However, the campaign won't show as executed in the
list of marketing campaign and I can't go in to create opportunities from the
list of contacts in the marketing campaign. It looks as if the marketing
campaign was never launched.
