    Hi,
I’m trying to understand how Outlook synchronization handle deletions.
In the MOC-8913 (MS Dynamics CRM4.0 – Application book) pg.5-17, I read how Outlook synchronization handle deletion but I’m finding different strange behaviours:
Synchronization of contacts from Outlook and the CRM server depends on the ownership of the record as following:
    - If I’m the owner of the record and:
o I delete the record in Outlook -> The link to the CRM record is broken but the CRM record is not deleted (Right as written in the MOC: I’m the record owner so I’m aware that deleting the outlook record I only want to delete it, not the CRM one)
o Vice versa, I delete the record in the CRM -> The link between Outlook and CRM is broken but the Outlook record is not deleted (Right as written in the MOC: I’m the record owner so I’m aware that deleting the CRM record I only want to delete it, not the outlook one)
    - If I’m NOT the owner of the record and:
o I delete the record in Outlook -> The link to the CRM record is broken but the CRM record is not deleted, as it happens if I’m the record owner (Different from as described in the MOC: I’m not the record owner so I’m aware that deleting the outlook record I want delete the CRM record too)
o Vice versa, I delete the record in the CRM -> The record is deleted from both CRM and Outlook (Right as written in the MOC: I’m not the record owner so I’m aware that deleting the CRM record I want delete the Outlook record too)
    Synchronization of Activities:
    - Pending activities:
Deleting activities in outlook, they are deleted in CRM too. (Right as written in the MOC)
    - Terminated activities:
Deleting activities in outlook, the link is broken but they are not deleted in CRM. (Right as written in the MOC but at the following first synchronization the record comes back in outlook! This happens on every following first synchronization, deleting again the record in outlook it will be no more synchronized back)

Has anyone found the same behaviour?
Have I something wrong in the settings?

    Thanks.
    Simone
