Try turning on logging (in the BCM About dialog) and then check the messages in the log file when you get this error.

Hi,
Business Contact Manager 2007 with a server-based shared database. At some point something has happened which means that no PCs can create an offline copy of the database. They could originally; but can't now. The process appears to be working until just near the end of the progress bar when it stops and pops up: "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your last set of action or actions. Please try again."

How can we fix this?
thanks

Hi,

I have a strange problem synchronizing offline data with CRM 3.0

When I complete a sync, only some of the tickets and emails in our CRM support queue are available offline. For example, we have 50 tickets in our ticket queue, but only 27 of them appear in the queue once a successful sync has taken place. It's the same in other queues, one queue only has 4 tickets in it and only 3 of them are available after a sync.

I can't seem to see any pattern to this, any thoughts on this one...?

Thanks
Nik

I'd like to effectively turn off *all* Outlook synching - contacts, appointments, tasks, etc. We want all the Outlook records to remain private and not promoted to CRM 4.0. Does anyone which settings accomplish this?

Thanks.

Yes it was signed. I found the error though, the "source type" in the xml
file was set to "disk" instead of "database". I have no idea why it wouldn't
work with the "disk" option though.

Hi everybody,

I'm developing an account post-update asynchronous plugin but am having
trouble running it. It's the "Synchronize Account Address" example from the
"Working the Microsoft dynamics CRM 4.0" book. I copied the code AND
register.xml file.

I registered successfully the plugin, but when I update an account, nothing
happens. (The Asynchronous service IS running) I do have the following error
in the Application Event (posted below).

I even tried a empty Execute Method to make sure there is no error in the
code, but still have the error. Any ideas??

Thanks

I also created a post-update plugins for accounts and nothing seems to
happen. I do have an error in the Application Events on the server. Something
like this:

Host LABCRM4: failed while monitoring asynchronous operations queue.
Exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.

Do you have an event on your side?

I have no idea what's wrong. I copied an example from a CRM 4 book (code and
register.xml file). I even tried a execute method without any code and it
still crashes
